For an undercover police officer, there is a point of no return to protect one’s identity amongst a bunch of ruthless killers.

Emile Hirsch stars in the mob thriller Inside Man as an undercover cop who goes too deep with murderous mobsters.

The rest of the cast includes Jake Cannavale (Nurse Jackie, Romance & Cigarettes), Lucy Hale (Truth or Dare, Scream 4), Ashley Greene (Twilight), Danny A. Abeckaser (You Don’t Mess with the Zohan, The Wolf of Wall Street), Bo Dietl (Carlito’s Way, The Bone Collector), Vincent Laresca (Romeo + Juliet, Lords of Dogtown), Greg Finley (The Flash, Star-Crossed0, and Kyle Stefanski (Gotti, Acts of Violence).

Abeckaser directed the movie from the screenplay written by Kosta Kondilopouos.

Here is the official synopsis:

Based on true events, Inside Man follows disgraced New York Police Detective Bobby Belucci (Emile Hirsch) as his life falls apart when he discovers his wife (Ashley Greene) is having an affair. After beating her lover to a pulp, she leaves him and Bobby gets demoted at work, triggering his determination to prove he’s worth of redemption. His plan is to go undercover as a grunt and infiltrate the Gambino crime family’s notorious “DeMeo Crew,” a violent and bloody faction that reigned terror in the 1960s and ‘70s. Bobby will stop at nothing to get close to the head of the crew, Roy DeMeo (Danny Abeckaser), to expose the murder and corruption. But as Bobby sinks deeper into the mob and more bodies drop, the price of absolution may be higher than he can afford.
